The unveiling.... welcome on board!

The harshness of the Nigerian society is really eating deep into its citizens. For me, I'd say it really got my brain to work- basking in the thought of what to do next keep me up all night. Though I was losing sleep, the pleasure and satisfaction I derived was remarkable. I critically looked back to at the things I love to do, not my hobbies per say but activities that would keep me on track with my mind off the menace around me most importantly, things that would serve as an inspiration to someone out there.

One of the ways I hope to inspire people is through writing and blogging. I have always loved to write, from writing poems, quotes, articles and a whole lot. I even wrote a story, unfortunately, I never got to complete it because I was distracted.....My old blog still exist though I haven’t been on it for a while now because of a shift…….All the same, I have an article I hope to publish soon so anticipate. However, one of my quotes reads- ‘there is always something positive to get out of every negative situation’. Having that in mind, I steered myself to put all my distractions aside and focus on what I can do for myself.  So, in the midst of all the harshness the Nigerian society feeds us with, dare to dream. Task yourself! Think! Create! Take that bold step!

The name of my new blog is called FINE 'n' CHIC TERRITORY (FCT) aka the blog for Entrepreneurs. I chose the word “fine” because it means “very skilled and delicate”, “of high quality” noble” etc and the word “chic” because it means “stylish and elegant”. Putting it all together, it’s a blog where the noble, skilled, classy, sophisticated, stylish and elegant people of Abuja are going to be high-minded. On that note, I or should I say "we" are going to be-

  • Celebrating young and successful African Entrepreneurs. So if you are successful and good at what you do, we are coming for you;
  • Promoting businesses/upcoming businesses that are still hidden in the dark;
  • Showcasing talented people;
  • Paving ways through which like minds can rub minds;
  • Guiding young people on how to develop skills they have (mentor/mentee initiatives).

However, another aim  is for us to develop Entrepreneurial skills-think of what you can do for yourself, think of how you can empower yourself- Our government can't provide jobs for us so let's become our own boss, our government can't get us paid so let's make our own money. Lastly, this platform is going to be a spot filled with the best of the bests and will eventually become a network where we will not just be celebrating Nigeria's finest but the very best out of Africa!

We are Fine, We are Chic and We are made in Africa.
