Brands and Brains took part in the just-concluded National AIDS Indicators and Impact Survey(NAIIS) which was conducted in all the 36 states in Nigeria making it the largest survey ever conducted in the World... We carried out interviews, counselling as well as HIV and Hepatitis testing on members of selected households in specific enumerated areas in states within the North-central geopolitical zone. The states are Nasarawa state, Kwara state, Niger state, Kogi state, Benue state, Plateau state and of course, the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
In all honesty, the job was a bit too demanding as we had to travel through different places to get to the targeted enumerated areas where people were to be tested. However, it was indeed a blessing as we were giving back to humanity in the little way we could at mere being a part of it.
